The name's Daglys /dagl/lis/. For background, my Venezuelan grandmother wanted a name that started with a “D” and decided she would create an anagram out of Gladys—and bam: Daglys. I like to say creativity runs in the family.

I was born in Madison, WI, but have always remained true to my Venezuelan roots. Also, I'm a proud Texan after having lived there for 18 years of my life. However, for the past 5 years I’ve been soaking up the sun on the West Coast in Santa Monica, CA.

I’ve been a dancer since day 1. Salsa, Merengue, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Swing, Contemporary, or Modern—you name it. I am incapable of listening to a song without doing some shimmy-ing in my seat and without choreographing a music video in my head every. single. time. My favorite pastimes are watercoloring at the beach, visiting art museums, watching dystopian reality TV shows on Netflix, designing logos on Illustrator, and, last but not least, learning trending TikTok dances.

I've always been a creative problem solver (just ask my parents the solutions I would give them as a kid). And ever since I graduated from UT Austin in 2016, I’ve been helping brands solve their advertising problems for digital and multicultural audiences. I'm most passionate about uncovering human truths that will yield breakthrough big ideas and positively impact culture, especially toward multi-cultural markets.
